For the new owners of 9 Academy, decades of combined experience in the world of fashion and interiors has honed a keen eye for spotting and developing potential.

When they first saw the simple building located on a side street in Salisbury village they could immediately see the possibilities. They struck upon the idea to reinvent the structure to fulfill what they saw as a void in spacious short term lodging in a prime central location. They envisaged open plan, floor through suites with the style and taste of a boutique hotel combined with all the convenience and amenities of a home, walkable to everything the village of Salisbury has to offer. With a full service market steps from the building and multiple restaurants and shops a short walk away, guests have everything at their fingertips.

From day one, the goal was to create a boutique hotel alternative in Salisbury—offering privacy, space, and concierge service with none of the unpredictability or fees of vacation rental platforms. Thoughtfully designed, not only for visitors to the area but, due to the proximity of multiple local boarding schools, a place that works seamlessly for parents traveling and visiting with their teens.
